Jon Hickman, Ladenburg Thalmann Jon joined Ladenburg Thalmann in June of 2011 in the Institutional Research Department as an equity analyst with a focus smaller cap companies in the Mobile and Media segments of the Technology Sector. His focus has now extended to include small companies with unique and valuable Intellectual Property. Jon began his career in 1980 working with Bank of America’s Trust Department in San Francisco analyzing private companies. Jon then spent 16 years managing institutional growth oriented money at Western Asset Management, Wells Capital Management and Jurika & Voyles. In 2003 Jon joined Halpern Capital as a technology and life sciences analyst and later moved to MDB Capital Group in 2005. Jon has extensive experience analyzing and valuing smaller cap growth companies. Jon graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in chemistry and then completed an MBA program at BYU in 1980 with an emphasis in Finance.
